Electromagnetic feeders


Open or closed channels and tubes of various types made of steel, stainless steel, or special materials such as Hastelloy or titanium are used for material handling. They can be operated with highly flexible helical springs or with elastic rubber mounts. High degree of vibration isolation and smooth operation can be achieved by eliminating structure-borne noise.


The conveying process itself is based on the vibration of the conveyor deck at a slight angle to the conveying plane. The material to be conveyed moves in the form of a microscopic arrow, since the vertical acceleration exceeds the acceleration of gravity. Although there are numerous investigations into the behaviour of bulk materials conveyed by vibration and related laws, all essential product parameters are rarely known with sufficient precision, so that experimental studies are often indispensable despite many years of experience. A wide range of test equipment is available for this purpose at our facilities.


The simple, free-oscillating vibrating conveyors are available for conveying distances up to approximately 7 m. Distances of up to 30 m can be covered by our state-of-the-art, extremely quiet natural frequency conveyors.
